ECAQA activities are carried out in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan On Education no. 319-III of July 27, 2007 (as amended in 2022); the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan On Amendments and Additions to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Expansion of Academic and Managerial Independence of Higher Education Institutions no. 171-VІ ZRK of July 4, 2018; Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan On Approval of the Rules of Recognition of Accreditation Bodies, including Foreign Accreditation Bodies and Formation of the Register of Recognized Accreditation Bodies, Accredited Educational Organisations and Educational Programmes no. 629 of November 1, 2016 (as amended by the Order of Acting Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan no. 499 of October 4, 2021).
