ECAQA's Certificate of Full Membership in ENQA was officially presented at the General Assembly of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, October 26-28, 2022, Stockholm, Sweden.

The event was hosted by Karolinska Institutet. The ECAQA was represented by Advisor Farida Nurmanbetova.

The ceremony was solemn and the Certificate was presented by ENQA President Douglas Blackstock.

For ECAQA, this is a great victory, indicating that in all activities we follow the ESG Standards in conducting accreditation of educational organizations and educational programmes.

ECAQA conducts accreditation by applying Standards developed on the basis of the WFME Global Standards for Quality Improvement and harmonized with the Standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG).

The next step is the registration of ECAQA in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR).

Full membership in ENQA and inclusion in EQAR allows the accreditation body to carry out accreditation of educational organizations and educational programmes in the specialties of all sectors of economy, industry, humanities and social areas.

The Eurasian Centre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Health care (ECAQA) which operates in Kazakhstan has been awarded Recognition Status by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME). WFME Recognition Status has been awarded for ten years until 31.10.2032 with immediate effect.

WFME is satisfied that the accreditation process, post-accreditation monitoring and decision making by ECAQA when it accredits these medical schools and faculties is to an appropriate and rigorous standard.
