In March 2026, the Eurasian Center for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Healthcare signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Accreditation Commission of Schools and Colleges (NACSC), which was established as an independent national agency for accreditation and regulation in India and is responsible for evaluating educational standards throughout the country.

At the international level, NACSC promotes the mutual recognition of decisions regarding accreditation and quality assurance, fostering global cooperation and the achievement of high standards in education. For the purpose of accrediting educational programmes in the field of medical sciences and related medical disciplines, the NACSC conducts institutional and programme-specific accreditation using standards based on its comprehensive system, as well as internationally recognized benchmarks, including the standards of the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), with which the NACSC accreditation system is fully aligned. The NACSC accreditation system is also aligned with and complies with the educational standards and quality principles of the Association for the Study of Medical Education (ASME).

With regard to K–12 education, the NACSC employs an institutional accreditation model comparable to internationally recognized K–12 quality assurance systems, with a particular focus on institutional governance, academic performance, organizational development, and student learning outcomes. The Memorandum aims to promote cooperation through consultations, information exchange, and joint activities in the field of higher education quality assurance and related academic initiatives, including the accreditation of educational institutions, the evaluation of academic programs, and the development of new educational concepts.
