The Eurasian Сentre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Health care (ECAQA) has been accepted as the Network of Central and Eastern European Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA) member with observer status by circular vote of the General Assambley of CEENQA on Nobember 28, 2017.
According to the Statutes of the CEENQA (Section 8) its members with observer status are entaitled to participate in all functions, initiatives, and activities of the Association.
The CEENQA is non-governmental and non-profit organisation.
The Network of Central and Eastern European Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA) was founded on October 13, 2001 in Krakow, Poland and it was leagally registered in Düsseldorf, Germany on July 4, 2011.
According to its Statutes, “The purpose of the Association is the cooperation between the member organisation in the development and harmonization of their activities in the field of quality assurance and quality improvement in higer education in Central and Eastern Europe, thereby making a contribution towards the development and implementation of the European Higher Education Area”.
As of January 2016, CEENQA has 27 members from 19 countries.
