The National Center for Expertise of Medicines and Medical Devices is undergoing re-accreditation by the ECAQA. The international expert commission was chaired by E.A. Slavko, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine of the Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, and Chief Hepatologist of the Almaty City Public Health Department.

The panel also included Kazakhstani experts representing academia, learners, and employers, as well as an international expert, G.A. Ibadova, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Pediatric Infectious and Parasitic Diseases at the Center for Professional Qualification Development of Medical Workers, and Chief Infectious Disease Specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The National Center for Expertise of Medicines and Medical Devices provides non-formal education programmes for healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and pharmacy specialists. The expert commission evaluated the Center’s educational activities and acknowledged its achievements in meeting established objectives and implementing the recommendations made by the external expert comossion in 2021.
