Past-President and member of the Executive Board of the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME), Professor David Gordon held the workshop «New WFME Global Standards for Quality Improvement: National Specifications in Basic and Postgraduate Medical Education» for ECAQA accreditation experts on 20 June 2023 in Almaty.

The workshop objective: to develop the capacity of ECAQA accreditation experts to ensure the quality of medical education, based on international principles and WFME Global Standards for Quality Improvement: Basic Medical Education and Postgraduate Medical Education.

Seminar results: 38 representatives of medical universities and research centers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, members of the KazMSA, Accreditation and Expert Council of ECAQA took part in the workshop.
