The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education

The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) was established in 1991, and it is currently a world-wide association of 300+ organisations active in the theory and practice of quality assurance in higher education.

The great majority of its members are quality assurance agencies that operate all over the world and are involved in quality assurance in education in many different ways. INQAAHE members also include (as associate members) other organisations with an interest in quality assurance in higher education.

INQAAHE offers its member organisations a large number of benefits resulting from their participation in an active group of collaborators in the field of quality assurance in higher education. The members can exchange experiences with each other in quality assurance in higher education, participate in conferences, forums and workshops on these areas. Having access to best practices in quality assurance and evaluation mechanisms, INQAAHE members have the opportunity to find out how other organisations are working in this field and thus to develop and improve their approaches to quality assurance.
